Jennifer Colby, LCSW, is a geriatric clinical social worker with a specialization in geriatric psychiatry. In addition to providing therapeutic interventions for studies at WCM, she has a private practice providing psychotherapy and care management for older adults in both New York and Connecticut. She also collaborates with attorneys regarding mentally ill individuals who have special needs as well as persons with dementia. Finally she assists families in understanding how best to plan for long term care. A graduate of the University of Chicago (BA psychology and French), she received an MSW from Fordham University. Her previous experience includes working as a social worker in adult day care as well as assisted living. When not working with older adults, she supports The Humane Society of Westchester and plays the piano.
